Onemind® Improvement Model

The Onemind® Improvement Model describes the relationship between the behaviours, attitudes, practices and mindsets that determine the management maturity level of an organisation.

Our focus is on the management of organisational change using portfolios of programme and projects.

The five levels illustrate the key developmental stages of an organisation as it matures.

Each maturity level has criteria for measuring how well change initiatives are being managed in the organisation, and what can be done to improve them.

Uniquely, the Onemind Improvement Model maps improvement activities to each maturity level and management practice. It integrates the various disciplines required to be consistently successful at organisational change, including portfolio, programme, project, process, performance and people management.

The Onemind Improvement Model forms part of a knowledge-based approach to organisational change demonstrating how change can be managed in such a way that people fully engage in cooperating and supporting the change, and how the control, governance, and planning activities can be proportionate and reliable.

Onemind and P3M3®

In an nutshell, the Onemind Improvement Model does more than P3M3.

  • P3M3 does not measure the psychology of organizational change, process management, and performance criteria.
  • P3M3 does not describe the improvement journey that organisations have to take to lift their management maturity.
  • P3M3 does not recommend improvements steps.

Onemind Improvement Model does not exclude P3M3. A Onemind maturity rating can be readily and accurately converted to a P3M3 rating.
